    Question Newly diagnosed

I was diagnosed with PCOS about 1 week ago. Even before my diagnosis, I knew that something was not right with my body. I have all the typical symptoms: facial hair growth, excess weight, very low feritility, etc. What I want to know is this: After taking Melformin, how dramatically will the chances increase that I become pregnant. I do want more children, and consider the one that I have a miracle. However, I want at least 2 more. How many of you took the drug, and after taking it, how long did it take you to become pregnant? Thanks for your support, and I am so happy that I found a website that can answer some of the questions that I have, and will have concerning this condition.

    Dear friend,

Thank you for writing in to our forum! I am so sorry to hear about your recent diagnosis, however, there are many things you can do to help treat PCOS. Some women with PCOS respond well to Glucophage in terms of losing weight, regulating their menses and becoming pregnant, but we hear from many women for whom this medication is ineffective.

Our view on the pharmaceutical treatment of PCOS is that there is no one drug on the market that will change your condition. The only way to reverse the disorder is to reduce elevations in insulin, which directly affect testosterone and other hormonal changes that are responsible for causing PCOS.

The Insulite PCOS System was created to address the cause of PCOS. With those on Glucophage, we cannot say that we have noticed dramatic results in weight loss, hair growth, acne or other symptoms related to PCOS.

These symptoms can be partially controlled by diet and exercise changes. The addition of nutrients will help you become more sensitive to your insulin and reduce the symptoms of insulin resistance and PCOS.

I encourage you to consider using the System. Please write in again with additional questions.
    .
    Best Wishes,

    Question pregnancy yoga

Increasing Flexibility – yoga therapy has positions that act upon the various joints of the body including those jointsre never really on the ‘radar screen’ let alone exercised.Increasing lubrication of the joints, ligaments and tendons – likewise, the well-researched yoga positions exercise the different tendons and ligaments of the body.Surprisingly it has been found tht the body which may have been quite rigid starts experiencing a remarkable flexibility in even those parts which have not been consciously work upon. Why? It is here that the remarkable research behind yoga positions proves its mettle. Seemingly unrelated “non strenuous” yoga positions act upon certain parts of the body in an interrelated manner. When done together, they work in harmony to create a situation where flexibility is attained relatively easily.
Massaging of ALL Organs of the Body – Yoga is perhaps the only form of activity which massages all the internal glands and organs of the body in a thorough manner, including those – such as the prostate - that hardly get externally stimulated during our entire lifetime. Yoga acts in a wholesome manner on the various body parts. This stimulation and massage of the organs in turn benefits us by keeping away disease and providing a forewarning at the first possible instance of a likely onset of disease or disorder.

Adults with newly diagnosed diabetes appeared to be at higher risk of advanced liver disease, also known as diabetic hepatopathy," the study authors write. "Whether this reflects nonalcoholic fatty liver disease or direct glycemic injury of the liver remains to be determined."
