South Texas Women Needed for Infertility Study
The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio is undertaking a study to help infertile women conceive and participants are needed.
Women between the age of 18 and 40 who have eight or fewer periods per year are eligible to be screened for this study, according to KENS 5.com.
Study subjects will aid in comparing two oral pharmaceutical drugs used to increase fertility. One drug is the commonly-used Clomid. The other is a newer drug call Letrozole, initially used for breast cancer patients. The drugs work in different ways but have the same goal: the stimulation of egg growth.
