		<description>I do not as a rule post to weblogs but I am interested in your post therefore I was forced to do so. Veering off the subject slightly, what is your opinion regarding walking? Which is these days being put forward as the best exercise to burn fat.

&lt;strong&gt;Hello Paanchajanyadharaaya,&lt;/strong&gt;

 Thank you for contacting our PCOS Support Blog!

Walking is a great form of exercise, especially if you are getting your heart rate up into your target heart rate zone. It’s also much easier on the joints than jogging. For those that are beginners, walking fast for 20 minutes 3-4 times a week is a good starting point. I think varying the intensity of the workout is a good idea as one does in interval training (sprinting 1 minute, walking 5 minutes…).

Pick different areas (hills, trails, stairs, track, neighborhood) and find a friend to keep you company (furry friends count). Also varying the type of exercise can be a good idea too so we don’t get bored with our workouts as we get more advanced. But I agree walking is great. It’s cheap (no gym membership necessary), easy for most individuals, works all parts of the body, and can be lots of fun.

I hope this information answers your questions. Please don’t hesitate to contact us again with any further questions or concerns.

Best wishes,
