Eating for Energy and Weight Control
Try to make a point of eating wisely for energy in 2010 to improve management of your PCOS symptoms.
After finding time for a healthy breakfast, consume frequent, small, nutritious meals, say every three or four hours, for the rest of the day. They are much better for your body’s metabolism – and weight control – than big lunches and dinners.
Regular, small, healthy meals will give you energy throughout the day, without recourse to fattening snacks, by helping to keep your blood sugar levels from crashing.
Don’t forget that liquids also provide energy by keeping you hydrated. Drink plenty of water and remember that fresh fruits and vegetables count towards fluid intake, too.
