Improve Your PCOS … by Clearing Out Your Closet
Losing or controlling weight doesn’t have to entail huge, sweeping changes to better manage your PCOS symptoms. Instead, a series of small steps can soon show excellent results.
Clearing out your closet, for example, is not only great exercise but also an important step in changing your attitude. Get rid of all the clothes that make you look or feel bad.
As you lose weight, throw out anything that’s too big – don’t give yourself the option of ever fitting into those clothes again. Move the smaller clothes up to the front to help motivate you. Soon, you’ll be fitting into those previously too-tight jeans that you couldn’t bear to part with.
Also, take down your measurements. You might not like your stats now but you’ll be glad you wrote them down when you see how many inches you’ve lost later. It’s also another way to measure your success, instead of just looking at the scale.
Even when the numbers on the scale aren’t going down, the measurements of parts of your body are being reduced … and seeing the change via a tape measure is great morale-booster.
