Ovarian Cancer: Resources
Approximately
one in 70 women in the United States will develop ovarian cancer, a serious
disease that kills nearly 15,000 women every year (1). The main cause of
ovarian cancer is attributed to a genetic predisposition to the disease.
The diagnosis of ovarian cancer is difficult and the symptoms are often
vague. If you have questions about ovarian cancer, you should speak with
your doctor about a diagnostic work-up.
Unfortunately, the conditions that lead to the development of Polycystic
Ovarian Syndrome, as well as some of the medical problems linked to PCOS,
may also set the stage for ovarian cancer. Studies have linked the occurrence
of ovarian cancer in women with the consumption of diets high in refined
carbohydrates (2). Such diets are prevalent among PCOS sufferers and contribute
to the underlying Insulin Resistance that causes Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.
Insulin Resistance has also been linked to breast cancer and studies suggest
it is a significant risk factor for development of the disease (3). Other
recent research indicates that women who suffer from infertility may have
an increased risk of developing cancer (4). As infertility is a common
result of PCOS, there may be a relationship between Polycystic Ovarian
Syndrome and ovarian cancer.
Although there is no definitive study that proves that PCOS and ovarian
cancer are linked, this recent research continues to stress the importance
of addressing Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and its underlying Insulin Resistance.
Ovarian cancer sufferers have a 50% survival rate after five years (5).

"First of all, I am thankful to INSULITE LABS research for such a wonderful
recovery plan for patients with PCOS. I have been on the supplements for
less than 10 days and I already notice some physical changes -- including
reduced acne and body weight.
"It is true that every woman with PCOS needs to know about your products
and I am glad that it is not just a product marketing strategy but
designed to help patients truly feel better and recover.

"I would like to tell you how happy I am with the results I have seen in myself for the past three months since I started the Insulite System.
"I am starting my fourth month and have now lost 23 lbs. and 3-5 inches. Plus, for the first time in my life I have had my period for two consecutive months and they didn’t last as long as usual. Of course, my acne and facial hair have lessened also."
